Semi Washed – These coffees are processed using mechanical means to remove the coffee fruit and all the mucilage mechanically. This process makes drying easier because the beans do not cling to one another.

Pulped Natural (Honey) – These coffees are wet processed. The fruit and a portion of the mucilage are removed mechanically, and the remaining mucilage is left to dry on the parchment coffee. These coffees have a dried honey or caramel look to them. Coffees that are Honey processed have sweet and rich aromas before roasting. Like Naturals however these coffees can be risky. Areas with high temperatures and high humidly are not ideal for this method. However, as with Naturals when this method works it produces a wonderful bean!
